Final thoughts of the month

This month went pretty well I think! For one I actually managed to finsh before the end of the month so I actually had some time between my week four blog and my end of month thoughts!

I still think my painting falls short of Alma Thomas's work, but taken on its own I do like it (though I should have left the clouds and done those tiles just in yellow rather than trying to cover over it and I think the strips of pink and orange should have been thinner to have more red).

A bit like with my April project, I think that doing this gave me more of an appreciation for the outside - in this case literally the view from my front door. As I'm typing this right now I can see that hill through my window and since it is evening it has a lovely warm tint to the green :)

It is nice to have had a more relaxing month, especially since other aspects of my life were quite stressful this month! This blog is about my art project not me in general though so that's all I will say on that ;P
