Final thoughts of the month

Written 04/09/2025

Honestly, despite feeling like I was SO BEHIND I think this month ended uo going pretty well. I think due to the final piece being less "challenging" for me -- being a blend of watercolours (that didn't need to be neatly composed) and drawing female figures. Obviously drawing traditional fashions and dancing is not something I do much so there was EFFORT put into it, but it wasn't so far out of my comfort zone is what I mean. Especially because I didn't really have to skew too far from my normal artstyle.

There is a part of me that wishes I had more time (when don't I?) I found that getting my 'good enough' drawing didn't require so much time. (Obviously, a good amount of hours overall but spread out into 1-2 hours chunks it didn't feel THAT long).

I must admit, I have had a LOT on my mind this month outside of my project (and I am pretty tired writing this!) so I don't have a whole lot to say about it that I haven't already written. But I had a good time doing it, and it helped me relax and keep my mind off of those other things :)
